The first thing came across my mine after purchasing the fabric from a friend of mine is baju kebaya!
It took me a couple of months to complete it as I made a lot of errors in drawing of the blouse and I have also wasted quite amount of fabric to obtain the similar design at both side of the pleats
The traditional baju kebaya Nyoya is actually made of sheer cotton, silk or organza material with elaborate and intricate designs at the borders . While the long skirt is known as sarong (batik) and usually paired with the embroidered blouse.
